As well as a strong understanding of the product, the role requires solid engineering skills and practical experience with coding. Members of our team display a rock‑solid work ethic, a team‑oriented mindset, original thinking skills, and a desire to lead the adoption of renewable energy storage at scale.
What You'll Do
Perform proactive analysis of product and installation issues across the EMEA fleet using product telemetry to identify trends to drive continuous improvement of our products and processes
Improve tools and methodologies to visualize and analyze large fleet data sets
Initiate and support root cause analysis of software, firmware, hardware product issues
Provide support on escalated issues, and translate learnings into technical documentation, automated diagnostics or other product or process improvements
What You'll Bring
Top‑tier academic background in engineering, preferably electrical engineering, or demonstrate equivalent experience of exceptional ability
Relevant work experience, including significant first‑hand experience of root cause analysis, data analytics and/or service engineering
Ability to produce clear and concise written documents and diagrams
Ability to prioritize and execute many tasks in parallel
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
Hands‑on experience of using Python or equivalent for data analysis
Familiarity with LLMs and AI tools like Claude Code
Previous technical work experience with electric vehicle charging hardware and protocols/standards and/or energy storage systems
Occasional travel may be required for this role. This would include travelling to customer sites as well as to other Tesla facilities.
