Medior Process Design Engineer

Responsibilities

Realizing process design and plant change procedures for experimental research installations.

Design processes by using design software, resulting in technically correct and viable designs at a competitive price.

Prepare process design for experimental research installations and plant changes.

Estimate, plan and control the required hours and costs for a design.

Work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Effective supervision of design realization: budget control, compliance with safety procedures.

Continuously develop new technical options and expand the range of experimental applications.

Review of work delivered by third parties.

Responsible for interfacing between research and utility infrastructure.

Responsible for safety in design and design notes.

Delivers presentations internally and externally.

Consultant with respect to design, planning and cost.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Technology / Process Technology.

3-8 years of working experience with Process Design Engineering or a closely related discipline.

Very good communication skills.

Knowledge of national and international standards and specifications.

Understanding of process flow schemes and process design notes.

VCA basis.

Dutch & English: fluent in speaking and writing.
