Develop engineering solutions for recurring failures and issues affecting plant operations, including capacity, quality, cost, and regulatory compliance.
Analyze and solve complex problems using Lean Six Sigma techniques.
Facilitate Root Cause investigations and risk analyses for preventive and predictive maintenance.
Lead interdisciplinary reliability improvement teams to ensure the reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, controls, and safety systems.
Develop obsolescence and long-range plans, including identifying critical equipment, vulnerabilities and creating mitigation plans as a part of plant asset strategy in order to achieve reliability and availability targets.
Contribute to Human and Organization Performance Improvement, bridging the gap between operators’ feedback and proactive solutions to prevent reliability losses.
Ensure that reliability in design is implemented in capital projects.
Support site outages and turnarounds.
Stay informed about emerging technologies to improve reliability and performance.
Collaborate with our Global asset integrity team to synchronize and standardize reliability initiatives.

As a Reliability Engineer, you demonstrate exceptional facilitation skills, bringing people together, creating action plans, and indirectly leading others toward reliability improvements.
Master’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of Reliability and/or Maintenance, Inspection engineering experience in the chemical or refinery industry.
Knowledge of and experience with Lean Six Sigma is a strong preference.
Advanced level of interpersonal capability to provide timely and effective problem-solving.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and convincingly both verbally and in writing with internal and external clients.
Ability to drive continuous reliability improvements in equipment installations and work processes.
Capable of coaching, developing, and holding others accountable.
Strong commitment to safety, a high level of personal integrity, and dedication to conducting business in an ethical way.
Ability to work across a multi-disciplinary team.
Basic proficiency in the following areas with the ability to develop into a subject matter expert in particular areas:
Predictive Maintenance and Condition Monitoring Techniques
Life Cycle Cost Analysis
Reliability data analysis (Weibull, Crow-Amsaa, and reliability modeling.)
RCM-based Predictive and Preventive Maintenance strategies
Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt
Ability to apply computer software tools (SAP, Microsoft Office, Power Bi)
