Group Advanced Technology & Innovations Program Manager

The role
In this position, you are the driving force behind the identification, piloting and rollout of advanced technologies across the terminal network. You work on concrete applications of robotics, drones, portable inspection tools (NDT) and smart field solutions — with the goal of reducing operational risk, increasing asset availability and improving maintenance efficiency. You act as a bridge between maintenance, operations and technology, ensuring that innovations are translated into scalable, real‑world solutions that can be deployed across the entire network.

Key responsibilities

Scouting and assessing relevant technologies (robotics, drones, NDT, sensors) and building a structured innovation pipeline

Designing and executing pilot projects in close collaboration with terminals and technology partners

Standardising and scaling successful solutions across the network

Developing innovative inspection and maintenance solutions: in‑service tank inspections, external drone inspections, portable inspection tools

Ensuring integration of field technologies into existing systems (CMMS, TMS)

Training and supporting site teams in adopting new technologies

Contributing to measurable CAPEX/OPEX savings and risk reduction

Profile
We are looking for a technology entrepreneur — someone with an engineering background, a hands‑on mindset and the ability to translate complex technologies into pragmatic, executable solutions. Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Process, Electrical or similar); 5–10 years of experience in operations, maintenance or technical roles in industrial environments; demonstrable affinity with or experience in robotics, drones or advanced inspection tools;

strong stakeholder management from shop floor to senior leadership, internally and externally; entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to test, learn and scale; analytical, pragmatic and results‑oriented.
