Hardware Engineer

We are supporting a client in the unmanned aerial systems (UAS) industry in the search for an experienced Hardware Engineer.

Mission
You will be responsible for designing and iterating compact, low-power avionics, power, and interface boards based on PX4/Pixhawk-style architectures. Your work will directly contribute to UAV platforms operating in GPS-denied and challenged environments, where reliability and rapid deployment are critical.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop embedded avionics hardware for UAV systems

Work within PX4 / Pixhawk-based architectures and ecosystems

Design PCBs (Altium or KiCad) with a strong focus on reliability and manufacturability

Develop power systems under strict SWaP constraints

Ensure strong EMI/EMC performance, grounding integrity, and noise mitigation

Perform system-level debugging and root-cause analysis across hardware and software interfaces

Required Experience & Skills

4–8 years of experience in embedded electronics / hardware engineering

Proven track record of delivering and fielding hardware products

End-to-end experience in full product development cycles

Strong understanding of embedded systems, power electronics, and board-level design

Candidate Profile

High ownership, accountability, and resilience in complex development environments

Comfortable working in fast-paced environment.

This role is located in the Netherlands; therefore, candidates should be open to relocation if currently based elsewhere.
