Position:
Head of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) for defence land systems.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach the ILS bureau, motivate team and develop specific and generic ILS knowledge.

Provide strategic, independent advice to stakeholders on logistics aspects, maintenance strategies and vital ILS and system plans.

Oversee Life Cycle Costing studies, deliver recommendations to minimise acquisition risks and operational costs.

Build and maintain strong networks with knowledge institutes, industry, military units, procurement and users to synchronise the system logistics chain.

Contribute to defence logistics policy and propose improvements to business operations.

Qualifications

HBO degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering with a focus on Maintenance Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience in the material logistics domain and results‑oriented business management.

Proven leadership experience with motivating and coordinating capabilities.

In‑depth knowledge of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS), Life Cycle Costs (LCC) and related analytical methods.

Experience with European regulations, standards and quality assurance requirements.

Knowledge of SAP modules (WSM, BAM, PVA) considered a strong pre.

Fluent in Dutch and English; basic knowledge of German acceptable.

Additional Information
