We are looking for a DP Trials Specialist to lead and support Dynamic Positioning (DP) trials on offshore vessels.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute DP trials including FMEA proving trials and annual DP trials
Develop and review DP trial procedures and test scripts
Validate DP system redundancy, failure modes, and worst-case scenarios
Record, analyse, and report trial results and findings
Liaise with vessel crew, clients, class, and third-party specialists during trials
Requirements
Strong experience with DP systems and offshore vessel operations
Proven experience conducting DP trials (FMEA/annual trials)
Good knowledge of IMCA guidelines and class requirements
DP Operator Certificate or relevant engineering background
