To support our rapidly expanding global commercial team, we are looking for an Application Engineer in France. The job is based in France and fluent French is mandatory.

How can you contribute?
An Applications Engineer works as a bridge between customers and engineering teams. As an Applications Engineer you use customer input and sales information to design, develop, evaluate, and implement complex problems and applications. You provide technical support and expertise to customers by testing applications and responding to feedback. You perform installations and maintenance and often give presentations and demonstrations.

Installation, commissioning and start-up of pilots, including training of operators and giving presentations or demonstrations
Provide clients with (remote) technical support during pilot tests and full-scale projects
Serve as direct, first line technical contact in pilot improvement
Build strong relationships with assigned client’s technical teams
Managing pilot fleet quality and availability between pilot tests
Support the sales team with product prototypes and presentations
Review and report operational performance during pilot tests
Advise clients and suggest improvements based on observations and data analysis

Who are you?

You are curious, self starting, energetic and ambitious, result driven, and a team player
Bsc. or Msc. degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering or similar education
Understanding of water treatment and (membrane) filtration

Experience with fabrication and assembly
Familiar with working with internal and external customers (End users, EPCs and OEMs)
Ability to collaborate with vendors, customers, and employees
Ability to convey complex technical issues to others
Willingness to travel extensively international
This position is based in France, fluent French is mandatory (native preferred)
