Technical team leader onshore (f/m/d)  Deutsche Windtechnik B.V. has been providing inspection and maintenance services for offshore and onshore wind farms since 2015. In this way, we actively contribute to a sustainable society and a stable energy supply for everyone. We are a technical company with attention for the people who make the work a success. We have long term contracts, with a strong focus on process efficiency and quality improvement.
In the Netherlands, we have two service stations from which technicians work. Our onshore team works from our service station in Yerseke and our offshore team from service station IJmuiden. Our head office is in Utrecht. For the onshore windfarms we provide inspection, maintenance, and repair of wind turbines at various wind farms in Zeeland and Belgium (Vestas, Senvion and Enercon turbines).
The service team has now grown so much that we are looking for a technical team leader for the onshore team in Yerseke (Netherlands). You will be responsible for our onshore service team of 11 people. You are the first point of contact for the technicians in your team. You will not only be hired due to your technical knowledge of wind turbines but also because you are a real people manager who can coach the team and takes ownership to initiate and implement improvements.
Your tasks  As technical team leader, your responsibilities will include:
Operational leadership of the onshore service team in Yerseke, Zeeland.
Coaching, motivating and guiding the people in your team.
Performance management and adequate monitoring of employee performance.
Hire, induct and coach team members to produce their best work, set annual targets and achieve growth objectives.
Optimize staff planning and resources in collaboration with the Dispatch department.
Oversee the execution of all Service-related activities.
Promote internal and external cooperation and customer orientation.
In collaboration with the Operations Manager onshore manage cost and performance indicators and initiate cost-out initiatives.
In collaboration with the Project Manager(s) actively monitor contractual availability.
In cooperation with the Technical Field Support department, initiate and manage improvement proposals related to contractual availability.
Taking ownership and implement improvement plans and processes.
Initiate and schedule trainings, safety and technical with the support of the training department.
Administrative tasks such as approval of working hours, declarations, and control of safety certificates.
Organize regular safety or kick-off meetings.
Perform safety inspections and support the Project Team.

Your profile   You have a relevant technical education and several years of experience in a leading onshore position.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical team lead role.
You have integrity and know how to coach and guide the people in your team in a positive way to get the most out of your team.
You are analytical and commercial and have a result-oriented mentality.
You oversee the progress, effectiveness, efficiency, and safety of the activities carried out.
Proven skills and experience with the MS Office package.
Proficient in Dutch and English in spoken and written form.
