Equipment Application Engineer - Packer to Palletizer - Spanish Speaking

We are looking for a Spanish-speakingEquipment Application Engineer Packer to Palletizer to support our customers and commercial teams in the growing Spanish market and other countries in the region by developing technically sound, customer‑focused conveyor and equipment solutions. Based in The Netherlands, this role serves European customers and partners, translating operational requirements into optimized packer‑to‑palletizer layouts using Intralox’s advanced equipment and belting technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert for Intralox equipment and packer‑to‑palletizer system solutions, with a strong understanding of technology capabilities and value propositions
• Analyze customer requirements, clarify specifications, and evaluate application feasibility
• Develop solution layouts, drawings, simulations, calculations, and pricing concepts to support project qualification
• Work closely with commercial teams to qualify opportunities and present tailored technical solutions to customers
• Create innovative equipment layout concepts that optimize efficiency, performance, and long‑term scalability
• Interpret customer specifications and provide recommendations balancing performance, value, and technical feasibility
• Identify and mitigate technical risks for both the customer and the organization during project development
• Collaborate with customers, commercial teams, and global application engineering colleagues to ensure consistent, high‑quality solution delivery
• Contribute ideas to improve technology, expand applications, and support continuous innovation

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience, ideally within conveyor systems, automation, or material‑handling environments
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD tools for layout and concept development
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a practical, hands‑on mindset
• Proven ability to manage and document projects in a structured, organized manner
• Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to understand customer needs and explain technical solutions
• Fluent Spanish (spoken and written) and professional working proficiency in English
• Willingness to travel approximately 20–25% for customer visits, project qualification, and solution presentations

• Experience with complex conveyor systems in the packer‑to‑palletizer space
• Familiarity with electrical control systems
• Exposure to automated systems within food, packaging, logistics, or industrial manufacturing environments
