What you'll be doing:
As Project Engineer, you'll take ownership of the engineering and delivery of utility-scale battery energy storage projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest technical standards:
Leading engineering, design, and construction activities across large-scale BESS developments
Managing project programs, budgets, risks, and delivery strategies
Ensuring technical excellence, compliance, quality, and operational performance throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinating EPC contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Monitoring progress and providing clear updates to senior leadership teams
Supporting major contract negotiations, procurement processes, and supplier management
Working closely with lenders, advisors, and investors during project execution
What we’re looking for:
Proven Project Engineering and/or construction delivery experience within the BESS sector
Degree-qualified in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical discipline
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Fluent English communication skills (Dutch is a bonus)
A genuine enthusiasm for renewable energy and accelerating the energy transition
