We are currently partnered with an innovative semiconductor company developing next-generation secure hardware and silicon solutions. As part of their growing hardware engineering team, they are looking to hire FPGA Design Engineers to design, implement, and optimise FPGA-based systems for high-performance and security-focused applications using industry-leading RTL design methodologies.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop FPGA solutions using RTL coding in VHDL and/or Verilog

Translate system-level requirements into efficient FPGA architectures and digital designs

Develop, synthesise, and optimise FPGA implementations for performance, power, timing, and area (PPA)

Perform synthesis, place-and-route, timing analysis, and design optimisation using industry-standard FPGA tool chains

Ensure robust RTL design through modular design practices, pipelining, and code reuse techniques

Key requirements

Strong commercial experience in FPGA development and RTL design

Excellent VHDL and/or Verilog programming skills

Strong understanding of digital design fundamentals, finite state machines (FSMs), and synchronous logic design

Experience developing FPGA-based solutions for embedded, real-time, or high-performance systems

Hands-on experience with FPGA platforms including Xilinx, Intel (Altera), or Lattice
