Senior Project Manager  Overview  We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced  Senior Project Manager  to join a trailblazing utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) developer based in Berlin. Responsibilities  As a Senior Project Manager, you will:
Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of utility-scale BESS projects, from initial planning to final delivery.
Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining high-quality standards.
Prepare and present project updates, reports, and documentation to stakeholders.
Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Apply expertise in electrical engineering across projects as necessary.
Leverage prior experience in high-voltage (HV) engineering projects as part of successful project delivery.
Qualifications  To be successful in this role, you should have:
A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing large-scale energy or infrastructure projects, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
Strong knowledge of utility-scale BESS technologies and project development processes.
Demonstrable hands-on experience in high-voltage (HV) engineering projects and electrical systems.
Exceptional project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
Fluency in German (both written and spoken) and proficiency in English.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Familiarity with relevant regulatory, permitting processes, and standards in Germany.
Day-to-Day  Your daily responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
Monitoring project progress and addressing any challenges or delays.
Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, including electrical and HV systems.
Managing contracts and negotiations with suppliers and contractors.
Preparing detailed project reports and presenting them to senior management.
Staying updated on industry trends, particularly in HV engineering, electrical systems, and technological advancements in energy storage.
