Wind Project Engineer - Amsterdam, Netherlands | Hybrid Working  Are you an experienced Wind Project Engineer with a strong background in the construction and delivery of onshore wind farms?
We're partnering with a well-established international renewable energy developer, owner and operator with more than three decades of experience delivering clean energy projects globally. Backed by a major international trading and investment group, the business has built and operates a substantial portfolio of wind and solar assets across Europe and continues to invest heavily in new renewable energy infrastructure.
As their European portfolio expands, they are seeking a Wind Project Engineer to join their Amsterdam-based team and play a key role in delivering large-scale renewable energy projects across Europe.

The Opportunity:

This is a hands-on project delivery role focused on the engineering, construction and successful execution of wind farm projects, alongside battery energy storage systems (BESS). You will work across multiple project phases, coordinating technical, commercial and construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Reporting into the Head of Asset Management, you will collaborate with internal teams, contractors, equipment suppliers, technical advisors and financial stakeholders to oversee the delivery of critical renewable energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the engineering and construction delivery of wind farms and battery energy storage projects across Europe.
Manage project schedules, budgets, risks and technical performance throughout construction.
Coordinate engineering activities and review project design to ensure successful execution.
Oversee contractors, consultants and project partners to ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
Monitor construction progress and provide regular reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Support the negotiation and execution of key project agreements, including turbine supply, equipment procurement and commissioning contracts.
Liaise with lenders' technical advisors and other financial stakeholders throughout project delivery.
Work closely with development, engineering and legal teams to support project success from development through to commercial operation.

What We're Looking For:

Experience delivering wind energy construction projects
Strong experience overseeing the construction of onshore wind farms
Proven project management experience, including budget control, scheduling and risk management
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across engineering, construction and commercial functions
Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related discipline
Fluent English communication skills
