Brightsmith are currently looking to engage an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer (Cx) to join a major hyperscale data center project in the Netherlands.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a flagship mission critical development, supporting electrical commissioning activities from pre-commissioning through to final client handover.

Responsibilities

Support the delivery of electrical commissioning activities across mission-critical systems.

Carry out L1-L5 commissioning activities in accordance with the project commissioning programme.

Execute pre-functional and functional testing of electrical systems including LV/MV distribution, UPS, generators, switch gear and associated equipment.

Assist with Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and system validation.

Coordinate with construction teams, vendors and other commissioning engineers to ensure systems are commissioned safely and efficiently.

Complete commissioning documentation, test records and punch lists in line with project requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrical Commissioning Engineer on hyperscale or mission-critical data center projects.

Strong understanding of electrical building services and critical power infrastructure.

Experience supporting L1-L5 commissioning and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).

Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.

Familiarity with commissioning documentation, test packs and turnover processes.

Fluent English is essential;
Dutch language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
