Project Manager / Project Lead – Industrial & Terminal Projects | Benelux

We are currently looking for an experienced  Project Manager / Project Lead  to manage technical and CAPEX projects across multiple industrial and terminal locations in the  Benelux region .

This is a highly varied, multi-site role for someone who enjoys combining technical project management with regular presence at operational sites.

You will manage projects throughout the complete lifecycle:

Your responsibilities

Manage multiple modification, replacement and expansion projects.

Take responsibility for scope, budget, planning, quality and delivery.

Coordinate engineering partners, contractors and suppliers.

Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HSEQ, Procurement and other internal stakeholders.

Manage construction, installation and commissioning activities.

Ensure projects meet applicable HSEQ and engineering standards.

Identify risks and drive solutions throughout project execution.

Support the continuous improvement of engineering and project standards.

Your profile
We are looking for an experienced technical Project Manager with a background in environments such as:

Tank Terminals, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refineries, Chemical Industry, Energy Infrastructure or Industrial Plants.

You ideally bring:

Several years of technical project management experience.

Experience managing CAPEX / industrial projects.

A technical or engineering background.

Experience working with contractors and engineering partners.

Knowledge of mechanical installations and/or piping.

Experience with commissioning and project handover.

Good understanding of HSEQ requirements.

Brownfield project experience would be particularly valuable.

Location & travel
This is a  Benelux-wide position rather than a role tied to one single location .

You may work from different company offices and will regularly travel to terminals and project sites across the Netherlands and Belgium.

Therefore, a  high willingness to travel is essential .

Candidates can be based in different parts of the Netherlands or Belgium.

Language
Fluent professional English is required.

Dutch is  not mandatory , making the opportunity also suitable for international professionals based in the Benelux region.
