Role Overview :

The Lead Information Engineer will be part of a rapidly growing information management (IM) team, responsible for managing and developing the digital ecosystem of the company. The successful candidate will analyze client IM requirements, manage client contacts, align technical systems and business processes with client requirements, and lead the development of new tools and information processes. The role involves both project-specific and company-wide responsibilities to improve systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze client IM requirements and study new technologies stated in these requirements.

Manage client contact on IM and align progress and implications of IM on projects with project managers.

Align technical systems and business processes with IM client requirements.

Manage data exchange, lead development efforts of new tools, and review in-house data flows and information processes.

Describe, implement, and review tagging systems.

Improve systems and processes of the company, including aligning engineering and procurement processes with digital tools.

Maintain and expand the company's data and software architecture, and develop the in-house ontology.

Guide the development of innovative in-house engineering databases and web applications.

Scope and manage the procurement and implementation of new tools and software.

Develop information and data pipelines and tools.

Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEC and ISO) and support the documentation and elaboration of work processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering or information sciences subject (or demonstrate relevant experience and skills).

Minimum of 3 years of experience in information management.

Experience with or knowledge of EPC projects, offshore wind, BIM, Python, ontologies, industry standard ontologies (CFIHOS, IEC CIM, ISO 15926), data architecture, enterprise architecture, reference design systems (RDS), and APIs are a plus.
