Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer to strengthen the engineering and project delivery team.

In this position, you will play a key role in preparing and coordinating technically complex offshore works. You will bridge engineering design and offshore execution, ensuring that all technical documentation, equipment planning, and operational readiness are aligned before mobilization.

Key responsibilities

Translating project scopes into detailed technical work packages

Preparing method statements and execution procedures

Developing lifting concepts, including calculations and technical drawings

Coordinating scopes related to access systems, structural works, and subsea support activities

Preparing material take-offs and defining required equipment

Attending yard visits and site inspections; documenting findings and follow-up actions

Supporting offshore mobilization phases and ensuring readiness prior to execution

Liaising with subcontractors and resolving technical challenges

Safeguarding HSE and documentation standards throughout the project lifecycle

Assisting the Project Manager with progress tracking and technical reporting

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Naval Engineering

At least 5 years of experience in offshore project engineering

Strong background in offshore construction and heavy lifting operations

Practical offshore experience is highly preferred

Confident reviewing and producing technical documentation

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Structured, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple work streams

Willing to travel offshore when required (typically short rotations once or twice per year)
