Consultant Grid Planning and Modelling

As a Consultant – Grid Planning & Modelling Engineering, you will work with leading transmission and distribution system operators to solve complex grid challenges and prepare networks for a more sustainable future.

From addressing grid congestion to planning network expansions and integrating renewable energy sources, your work will directly contribute to shaping tomorrow's energy landscape. • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in power systems, grid planning, power network analysis or grid operations.
• Knowledge of transmission and distribution network planning principles.
• Experience with grid modelling methodologies and engineering studies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Customer‑focused mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

• Experience with load flow calculations, stability studies or dynamic power system analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with grid modelling tools such as Power Factory, NEPLAN, Integral or similar platforms.
