As a leader, you will spearhead and oversee a dynamic team of QA engineers, offering unwavering guidance, mentorship, and support. Leveraging your robust management skills, you will actively contribute to the growth of your team by aiding them in skill development, assisting in setting personalized development goals, facilitating their achievement, and managing their performance. Your commitment extends to implementing targeted training programs designed to elevate the skills and knowledge base of each QA team member.
In fostering a collaborative work environment, you will play a pivotal role in establishing effective partnerships between QA team members and cross-functional teams, which include developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Your adept leadership will be instrumental in bridging communication gaps and ensuring seamless cooperation across diverse teams, ultimately contributing to the success of our collective endeavors.
In addition to your leadership and managerial responsibilities, you'll stay hands-on by actively participating in testing and test automation. As a Lead QA, you'll help out with the development teams, ensuring and proving the quality of newly developed features. Through KPI monitoring, you'll identify areas where your expertise can provide the greatest value, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our products.
What are we looking for?
Academic working and thinking level;
Strong experience with execution and analysis;
At least 2 years of experience in a management role;
Excellent command of the Dutch and English language;
Strong experience with using Scrum for software development;
Ability to identify and solve problems with sufficient accuracy and creativity;
Proven experience with both manual and automated testing;
Plus: experience with software for manual testing of mobile apps;
Plus: experience with automated testing for mobile devices;
Plus: real passion for sports and/or games;
Plus: working with Jira for task management;
Last but not least: you have a good sense of humor and desire to work with fun people!
