Music Collective Amsterdam
Het Music Collective Amsterdam is een ensemble dat zich specialiseert in het uitvoeren van grote symfonische werken in een kamermuzikale bezetting. Onze musici spelen onder andere bij het Koninklijk Concertgebouw Orchestra, het Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest en het Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest. Sinds onze oprichting hebben wij opgetreden op diverse mooie podia, zoals het Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Klassiek op het Amstelveld en de Lindengrachtconcerten in Alkmaar.

The Music Collective Amsterdam is an ensemble that specializes in performing large symphonic works in a chamber music setting. Our musicians also perform with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. Since our founding, we have performed at a variety of renowned venues, such as Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Klassiek op het Amstelveld, and the Lindengrachtconcerten.

Board Member Responsibilities – PR en marketing (Dutch)
Dit bestuurslid zal de verantwoordelijkheid dragen voor alle bij de concertorganisatie behorende activiteiten. Van het opvragen van opties bij zalen tot aan de concertdag zelf zorg jij dat alles soepel verloopt. Je hebt contact met de musici, concertzalen en technici, en zorgt dat artistieke wensen kunnen worden vervuld. Je bespreekt tijden en maakt draaiboeken. Aanwezigheid op de concertdag is een must, je zorgt dan dat het benodigde instrumentarium op de plek komt waar het moet zijn, en je zorgt dat het podium er goed verzorgd bij staat als de musici arriveren.

Na afloop van het concert controleer je de afbouw. Ervaring met het organiseren van concerten is een pré.

You will be in contact with musicians, concert halls, and technicians, and make sure that artistic wishes and requirements can be fulfilled. You will coordinate schedules and create production timelines and run sheets.

Being present on the concert day is essential: you will ensure that all necessary instruments and equipment are in the right place and that the stage is properly prepared when the musicians arrive. After the concert, you will supervise the dismantling process. Experience in concert organization is considered an advantage.
