Primary Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the COO, the Group Venue Director will lead strategic and operational excellence across all venues, maximizing theater performance and elevating the customer experience while aligning with Stage Entertainment’s global strategy. Responsibilities include oversight of Front of House operations, events, sponsor ships, facilities and procurement.

Strategy & Policy

Oversee theatre profitability, Front of House, sponsor ships, events, facilities and procurement, developing a clear vision and ensuring successful implementation.

Develop policies and realistic plans for operations and theatre profitability aligned with the five‑year plan, providing data‑driven insights for short‑term and long‑term decisions.

Play a key role in Stage Entertainment’s strategic business theme of theatres.

Drive Front of House turnover growth, ensuring activities increase in line with budget and the five‑year plan.

Drive entrepreneurial approach for events exploitation in the venues.

Drive sponsorship growth for sponsorship deals in the venues, including naming rights, led screens, and bar exploitation sponsorship deals.

Achieve optimization targets related to revenue generation and cost control, including procurement efficiency and economies of scale.

Lead venue teams of the operating companies to optimize the operations of the international venue strategy, embedding entrepreneurial thinking.

Short Term Policy

Translate approved plans into actionable local projects with clear goals, milestones, budgets, timelines and resource allocation.

Set measurable targets to optimize theatre profitability, sponsor ships and events.

Monitor theatre performance across operating companies and report results to the COO.

Develop transparent reporting on revenue and cost components in collaboration with headquarter staff.

Flag deviations from targets promptly and ensure timely corrective actions.

Drive the growth of the event business in line with budget and the five‑year plan.

Tactical / Operational

Maintain a clear overview of theatre profitability, processes and performance, providing actionable improvement opportunities for each location.

Establish service standards for theatre profitability and operations, ensuring local teams comply and deliver consistently.

Identify emerging trends and initiatives, supporting local teams in prioritisation and implementation with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Integrate ESG and sustainability considerations into theatre operations and capital projects, ensuring alignment with corporate standards.

Reporting and Analysis

Define which data must be provided periodically by local operating companies to monitor Front of House performance effectively.

Ensure accurate, complete and timely data delivery in line with established guidelines.

Collect and analyse key performance indicators and other relevant information.

Flag deviations promptly and recommend corrective actions.

Stakeholder and Partnership

Maintain and expand relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive commercial partnerships, sponsor ships and Front of House profitability.

Leverage internal and external networks to enhance strategic business growth and commercial opportunities.

Act as an ambassador for Stage Entertainment and its premium theatre experiences.

Facilitate international alignment and share best practices across theatres.
