About Amsterdam Nightlife   Amsterdam Nightlife creates unforgettable nightlife experiences by connecting visitors with the city's best venues, events, and partners. Every New Year's Eve, we coordinate multiple events across Amsterdam and are looking for experienced event professionals to help deliver an exceptional guest experience.
About the Role   We are looking for a  Freelance Event Manager  who is  fully available on 31 December  to oversee operations across multiple event locations in Amsterdam.
This is a hands‑on role where you will be responsible for ensuring venues operate smoothly throughout the evening and night. You will act as the operational link between Amsterdam Nightlife, venue staff, partners, suppliers, and our central operations team.
The role requires someone who is proactive, calm under pressure, highly organized, and comfortable moving between different event locations when needed.
Your Responsibilities     Manage operations at one or multiple NYE event locations.
Be present on-site throughout the evening and night of  31 December .
Coordinate with venue managers, hosts, suppliers, security, and entertainment teams.
Ensure guest arrivals, ticketing, and event flow run smoothly.
Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally.
Monitor staffing and support the event teams where necessary.
Maintain communication with the Amsterdam Nightlife operations team throughout the event.
Complete event reporting after the event.
Requirements      Mandatory availability on 31 December (afternoon, evening, and night).
Previous experience in event management, nightlife, hospitality, festivals, or live events.
Able to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Comfortable working across different Amsterdam locations during the event.
Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
Reliable, flexible, and solution-oriented.
