The Headhunter Group is recruiting an Investment Professional (Associate / Investment Manager) for an international private equity investor with a strong focus on the European mid-market. The firm has recently completed a successful fundraising and is at the start of a new investment cycle. This role offers a unique opportunity to join at an early stage of deployment and actively contribute to deal execution and portfolio value creation.

In this position, the Investment Professional plays an active role within the investment team, with a clear focus on sourcing, analysing, and executing investments. She works closely with senior team members and quickly gains hands‑on responsibility across transactions. The role combines strong analytical work with an entrepreneurial mindset and offers a clear path to grow into a more senior position within the deal team.

• Analysing and evaluating potential investment opportunities
• Building financial models, valuations, and investment cases
• Supporting due diligence processes and transaction execution
• Active involvement in deal execution and portfolio management
• Close collaboration with the internal investment team
• Interaction with management teams, advisors, and external stakeholders

• 3–8 years of relevant experience in private equity, M&A, corporate finance, strategy consulting, or corporate development
• Strong analytical and financial skill set
• Commercial mindset with a genuine interest in building businesses
• Proactive attitude with the ability to take ownership independently
• Fluent German (native or near-native level)
• Strong command of English
