Management responsibility:

• ✓ Responsible for overseeing and managing all financial reporting and accounting functions (payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable).
• ✓ Collect and consolidate financial data
• ✓ Prepare financial statements, both internal and external, including coordinating external auditor activities.
• ✓ Partner with leadership to lead the annual Business Planning process along with supporting longer term strategic plans.
• ✓ Be a strategic business partner to the leadership team and the project teams with direct reporting to US consolidation team.
• ✓ Actively participate in the review of construction projects providing insights that challenge and help alignment around the outcomes expected and/or exposures noted
• ✓ Work with project teams to have a deep understanding of projects and potential impacts to financial statements
• ✓ Ensure that reported results comply with the appropriate accounting and reporting framework, as applicable, by country
• ✓ Coordinate timely and accurate period-end reporting to U.S. parent company
• ✓ Develop, document and maintain a comprehensive set of internal controls

• ✓ Ensure all accounting records are accurate, and transactions are recorded timely
• ✓ Ensure compliance with applicable rules, laws and regulations
• ✓ Evaluate and monitor monthly trends as compared to projections; investigate unusual trends and revise future projections accordingly
• ✓ Review project cost anomalies with management and share any risks/reserves not reported or needed based on experience
• ✓ Identify, develop and monitor KPIs
• ✓ Cash Management:
  Review cash forecast (understanding the timing of pay applications, client billings, cash collection, etc.); work with project team to identify and implement best practices/systems to improve billings and cash collection. Support intercompany transactions and related settlement.
• ✓ Support analytics – data mining as needed by management for any reason to demonstrate performance, “what-ifs”, changes year over year, etc.
• ✓ Manage and develop accounting and financial reporting employees

Qualifications We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:

• ✓ 5-7 years practicing accounting and finance support
• ✓ Proven knowledge and understanding of EU member state GAAP
• ✓ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• ✓ Chartered Accountant and/or Certified Public Accountant
• ✓ Proficient computer skills in MS Office software, Financial Management software (Exact, SAP, Sage, Oracle EPM, or similar)
