Your role:
Support, control and process improvement

You will be responsible for key operational financial activities and will support both the Business Controller and the Lead Accountant.

You will be responsible for key operational finance activities, acting as the primary control function and process improver:

• Financial control and reporting:
  Lead and support critical reporting cycles, including quarter‑end and year‑end closing and comprehensive reporting processes, ensuring adherence to standards (IFRS is a nice to have).
• Budgeting and analysis:
  Take a central role in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost monitoring across multiple international entities.
• Actively tracking cash flows and contributing to clear liquidity visibility.
• Process automation and design:
  Master the improvement and standardization of financial workflows. propose, design, and implement new finance tools and digital solutions (ERP systems experience is essential) to ensure scalability.
• Compliance and audit:
  Collaborate closely with the lead accountant and auditors on the yearly audit and ensure robust intercompany transactions and accurate calculations.
• Operational support:
  Provide crucial support by monitoring payments, reconciling bank/credit card statements, and reviewing purchase orders/invoices, maintaining the link between daily transactions and strategic reporting.

Who You Are

Analytical, proactive, well‑organised and eager to learn, with a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Education and experience

A bachelor’s or master’s degree. Experience in audit is a strong plus, but above all your proactive and curious mindset is decisive.

Systems and automation

Strong proficiency in MS Excel and experience with accounting software and ERP systems.

Communication

Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.

Integrity

A strong sense of integrity.
