The role

As a Finance Business Partner, you will serve as the key financial advisor for the Aftersales, Product, and Used Car profit/cost centers. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the financial management of these areas, with a strong focus on creating and proactively managing the Aftersales and Used Car P&Ls. This role requires a proactive approach to fixing system inefficiencies, improving data quality, and driving financial transparency and performance.

This is what you will do:

Finance Business Partnering

  • Act as the dedicated finance partner for Aftersales, Product, and Used Car business profit/cost centers.
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.

Aftersales & Used Car P&L Management

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive P&Ls for Aftersales and Used Car businesses.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance and proactively manage profitability.
  • Establish and execute a robust management reporting framework for Aftersales and related areas.
  • Conduct monthly reporting, variance analysis (actual vs. budget), and performance reviews.

Aftersales Inventory & Revenue/Cost Management

  • Ensure proper inventory management and accurate valuation in line with accounting standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely revenue and cost recognition for Aftersales profit center.

Process & System Improvements

  • Identify and resolve issues in financial systems and processes, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Drive automation and enhancements in reporting tools, KPIs, and BI systems.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the preparation of the annual budget and periodic rolling forecasts for Aftersales, Used Car & Product cost centers.
  • Provide clear financial guidance to stakeholders during planning cycles.

Strategic Projects

  • Participate in projects aimed at improving business processes (e.g., SAP implementations, finance system upgrades).
  • Support initiatives to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Financial Modeling

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Provide scenario analysis and recommendations to optimize performance.

Continuous Improvement

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in financial processes.
  • Ensure compliance with group guidelines and best practices.

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

  • 4-7 years prior experience in a Business Controller/Finance BP role, preferably in automotive industry
  • Solid financial knowledge and expertise: a strong understanding of financial principles and metrics, including profitability analysis, return on sales, budgeting and financial statement analysis
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on data quality and system optimization
  • Able to interpret complex financial data, able to identify trends and to drive informed decision-making
  • Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent English Language skills
  • Advanced in MS Excel and Powerpoint
  • Familiar with Power BI or other BI tools
  • A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree with a business focus
