Operational Manager Industrial Services

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and driven Operational Manager Industrial Services for our Cyber Physical (CyPhy) Group to strengthen and grow our OT and IoT Cybersecurity at Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity. In this role, you will focus on operational excellence, supporting the sales team, and ensuring high-quality delivery of cybersecurity services for clients in Cyber Physical Markets.

You will help professionalize and scale our OT and IoT segment, building a strong bridge between technical execution and commercial ambition. Our services portfolio includes both technical services, such as penetration testing, red teaming, and other in-depth technical assessments as well as advisory services, focusing on governance, risk management, and overall compliance.

The CyPhy group at Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity focuses on securing complex environments where the digital and physical worlds converge, industrial operations, connected products, and critical infrastructures. Our experts in CyPhy Group are located within EMEA region with major delivery hub being currently located in the Netherlands. Cy Phy is structured around two major pillars:

• Product Cybersecurity

When we are talking about our typical customers, we’re referring to companies operating critical infrastructure or manufacturing environments, such as power grid operators, food & beverage producers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and advanced machinery OEMs.

As an Operational Manager of CyPhy Group you will drive operations and support sales in EMEA region within this domain; consolidated financial ownership rolls up under the Head of CyPhy, ensuring strategic alignment and technical excellence across all CyPhy markets and different geographies. You will work closely with the Sales Manager of CyPhy Group.

• Operational Leadership:
  Oversee daily operations of security experts (approximately 50 experts) ensuring smooth project delivery, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
• Support Collaboration:
  Further Build and Grow a strong, collaborative team with good capabilities to advise clients in industrial markets on their cybersecurity challenges.
• Sales Support:
  Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop proposals, plan and allocate resources, and support pre-sales activities and client onboarding.
• Service Excellence:
  Implement and continuously improve operational processes for EMEA team to deliver consistent, high-quality cybersecurity services for our clients.
• Stakeholder Management:
  Serve as a key interface between project delivery teams, commercial teams, clients, and senior management to ensure operational alignment with client needs and business goals.
• Resource Planning:
  Support in management of resource allocation across CyPhy projects, anticipating future needs based on business growth and pipeline development.
• Performance Monitoring:
  Support the Head of CyPhy in managing overall CyPhy Group P&L by tracking billability, project profitability, delivery margins, and other operational KPIs.
• International Support:
  Ensure that the quality of delivery of CyPhy project is consistent within the whole EMEA region.

• A completed bachelor or master’s degree.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for leading teams.
• Relevant experience in cybersecurity consulting, audits, and testing, preferably within industrial markets.
• Dutch proficiency is a strong plus; additional EU languages are an advantage.
• Based in the Netherlands, preferably within commuting distance of our Amsterdam or Eindhoven offices.
