Regional Conference & Events Executive

At a unique location in one of Amsterdam's major hotel and event venues, you are faced with a new challenge. Selling and successfully planning small and large events in all our Revo Hospitality Group hotels is what truly excites you. No days are the same, one day you are coordinating an intimate board meeting for 15 guests and the next you’re planning a large-scale international conference for over 1200 attendees with our ijVENUES collaborative.

Be limitless
Selling a wide range of large and small meetings and events energizes you. You handle the request from A to Z. You create a plan, arrange the contract, and ensure that all other related matters run smoothly. You motivate yourself and make sure that the business comes in. Successful events are your goal, and you keep this in mind. This also means working closely with the organization and ensuring that reception and housekeeping staff receive the right instructions.

If you do your job well, along with your colleagues, the event or conference becomes an experience for the visitors and, therefore, a great success. There are no limits to your abilities. In addition, you will be:

Event planning from A to Z and ultimately delivering detailed BEO’s to the internal production team to run small- and large-scale events (from 15 to 1200 visitors).

Logistical coordination between internal production departments, external suppliers and end client (technical AV, decor, catering, room nights, production).

Maximizing revenue through yield management, upselling, and pricing.

Working towards achieving revenue goals with your colleagues.

Analysing wishes/requirements, implementing sales techniques, and preparing competitive proposals, concluding contracts.

Responsible for receiving accounts, building relationships and organizing site visits inside the hotels.

Registering all ongoing offers and monitoring the follow-up of outstanding proposals.

Busy with administrative tasks such as, keeping track of to be charged amounts for the final invoice.

Responsible for after-sales activities.

In this position, you will work Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. You will work for all the Revo Hospitality Group hotels with conference spaces, as well as the collaborative ijVENUES, and you will be based in Mövenpick Amsterdam.
