You will be part of our Global Scoober Operations Data Analytics (SODA) team in Amsterdam. Scoober is the logistics delivery business in JET. Our delivery business plays a critical role in our future growth ambitions to empower every food and convenience moment. You will combine data‑driven insights and business knowledge to support logistics operations to grow and continuously optimise the network from all perspectives, such as system features, courier recruitment and engagement, facility management, forecasting and planning… You create actionable dashboards, perform analyses and present crystal clear insights to stakeholders, so that your audience can adopt it in their daily work.

As such, you use your superb communication skills in transmitting your passion for data to others.

These are some of the key components to the position:

• Strategic Analytics & Insights:
  Convert (complex) data findings into actionable business insights. Asking deeper questions to uncover opportunities that guide strategic, data‑driven decisions.
• Data Synthesis, Reporting and Integration:
  Contribute to internal Data as a Product initiative which helps to keep data solutions unified, tech‑debt free and easy‑to‑use. Work on Looker semantic layer and dashboard with meaningful KPIs and metrics. Along with hands‑on tasks for Tableau, Google Big Query, Airflow and DBT.
• Collaborative Analysis:
  Engage with analysts from sub‑teams leveraging insights to drive cross‑functional strategies and decisions.
• Proactive team player:
  Lead well‑defined assignments or participate in less defined assignments, shows enthusiasm for collaborating with others and participates in skill‑sharing opportunities.

What will you bring to the team?

• Proven and strong experience in Data Analysis/BI field
• Proficient in building and deploying data semantic layer (LookML) and dashboard using Looker
• Skilled in SQL, with the capability to write and execute complex queries, experience with Google Big Query (GBQ), Git Hub, Airflow, DBT is a big plus
• Effective communication skills with ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders, including non‑technical audiences
• Nimble mindset - our business is growing and evolving quickly, you’ll need to too!
• Ability to balance speed and accuracy - we work quickly but thoughtfully
• Be intellectually curious and investigate where details and data take you
• A kind, open, and collaborative team‑player with a team‑first mindset
