Your new job | About your main responsibilities

Senior in our Forensic Technology & eDiscovery team in our Forensic & Integrity Services department
, you will advise organizations and their legal counsel on complex business matters involving financial, fraud and digital forensic investigations, as well as economic damages arising from disputes.

  • Working in engagement teams to conduct both reactive and proactive data analysis on large volumes of unstructured and structured data.
  • Collaborating with clients, fraud investigators, internal and external auditors, lawyers, and regulatory authorities in sensitive and sometimes adversarial situations.
  • Innovating and developing new methodologies and processes, providing solutions to existing and future clients.
  • Supporting the leadership team and project manager at the operational level, while acting as a role model for junior team members.

You will apply your technical expertise in international eDiscovery projects and digital investigations, working closely with business teams to accelerate the fact‑finding process using advanced technologies and tools. Additionally, you will conduct IT investigations and digital forensics cases that require specific IT forensic knowledge. Our methodology incorporates advanced data analysis technologies such as machine learning, correlation engines, social network analysis, statistical and natural language analysis, predictive coding and automation.

The Forensic & Integrity Services team is a rapidly growing department within our organization. Our Forensic & Integrity Services professionals focus on advising on compliance and integrity issues, as well as investigating integrity breaches. Our professionals assist organizations with fraud investigations, analysis of business disputes, post‑bankruptcy investigations, and litigation preparations. F&IS also supports EY’s audit teams in their work related to fraud, corruption, money laundering, and regulatory compliance.

The Forensic Technology team comprises a multidisciplinary group of Forensic Technology professionals who are operating on projects in all parts of The Netherlands as well as in big cross‑border cases around the globe. We capture, consolidate, interrogate, and analyse large volumes of structured and unstructured data to support (digital) investigations, disputes, regulatory responses and conduct post‑cyber‑incident investigations at our clients.

Your skills and strengths | About your unique contribution
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in eDiscovery and digital investigation in a reputable consulting/eDiscovery firm.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with Relativity (One), Nuix Workstation, SQL and other state‑of‑the‑art eDiscovery tools.
