Troubleshoot performance issues across application, web, and database tiers.

Maintain a focus on continuous improvement and automation opportunities.

BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Strong Linux/Unix/Solaris administration and troubleshooting skills, including:

• Job control, soft and hard links, kernel and shell distinctions, shell scripting.
• Networking troubleshooting abilities.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, bash, sh, etc.
• Knowledge of web servers, security, DNS, file systems.

A passion for facing the unknown daily.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, along with outstanding customer service abilities.

Ability to work well in a team and learn new technologies.

Strong multi-tasking skills across multiple projects.

Ownership of projects with proactive management to meet deadlines.
