As Field Application Scientist, your main goal is to ensure our users are successful with our instruments and our solutions are successfully implemented in their workflows. You will be responsible for providing support and training to users, and will also assist the sales teams by serving as the product expert during demonstrations and conferences throughout the sales process. The successful candidate will offer feedback to product development, take responsibility for customer training, troubleshoot customer issues both onsite and remotely, and serve as a liaison between our customers and the organization.

You are passionate and eager about helping clients understand the usage and technical possibilities of our products. In case of issues, you are the one that will troubleshoot them to solutions. You are willing to travel to visit customers for support, onboard new users, and represent Optics
11 Life  have a solid teamwork attitude, that facilitates interaction and feedback flow between various departments. You will work closely together with Sales to ensure a smooth onboarding, with Production to ensure the products are of the highest quality and with Product Management to make sure customers feedback is heard.

• Being strongly involved in customer success and satisfaction;
• Providing advanced application support to our customers and distributors;
• User testing of our equipment (hard‑and software);
• Performing on‑site and remote training of customers;
• Performing Demonstrations during the sales process;
• Performing experiments and validating applications together with key customers;
• 40% International travel.

• BSc or MSc in Biomedical Engineering, Biology, or Biomedical Sciences (or a closely related field);
• Team player;
• Fast and eager learner;
• Fluency in English speaking and writing; additional languages are a plus;
• Strong customer‑facing skills;
• Excellent presentation skills in front of internal teams, customers, and large audiences (during conferences, webinars, etc);
• Experience with handling scientific instrumentation;
• Ability to provide clear and structured written documentation;
• Willingness to travel and driving license;
• Technical or customer care experience is a plus.
