We are looking for students eager to explore how Artificial Intelligence—from Computer Vision to Generative AI—can drive value in real-world manufacturing and business contexts.

TKH Group is a leading technology company specializing in innovative solutions with a strategic focus on integrated vision-based systems and manufacturing technologies.
TKH AI Technology acts as the central competence center, developing and deploying algorithmic solutions for around 60 distinct companies within the TKH Group.

You will work alongside experienced AI engineers and researchers, gaining access to proprietary datasets, high-performance computing infrastructure, and practical use cases.

• Thesis Projects: You will have the independence to define a research question and methodology that meets academic standards while solving relevant industry problems.

• Internships: You will integrate into our team, contributing directly to ongoing R&D initiatives, prototyping new models, and validating emerging technologies.

We welcome applications across all AI domains. However, the following topics are of particular interest to us right now and could serve as excellent starting points for a thesis or project:

• Evaluating AI in Deployment: Moving beyond lab-based metrics, we want to better understand how AI products (vision or language-based) perform at client sites. A potential project involves defining and measuring business‑critical metrics after final deployment to assess real-world impact and ROI.

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field
• Strong foundation in computer science and artificial intelligence principles
• Hands‑on experience with deep learning frameworks and tools including Python, PyTorch, W&B, MLflow, Lang Chain, and Git
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities with strong self‑motivation and ability to work independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in team environments

• Hands‑on experience with production AI systems in manufacturing and NLP applications
• Direct mentorship from senior AI engineers and researchers with regular code reviews and technical guidance
• Access to modern AI infrastructure including GPU clusters, MLOps platforms, and industry‑standard development tools
• Research presentation opportunities at internal team meetings and potential conference submissions
• Comfortable work environment with office views, daily catered lunch, and weekly social events (vrijmibo)
