As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will:
- Provide technical support to end users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and set up desktop systems, laptops, peripherals, and business applications
- Troubleshoot technical problems both remotely and on-site, ensuring minimal downtime
- Perform routine system maintenance including updates, patches, hardware upgrades, and backups
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system configurations
- Create and update knowledge base articles for common technical issues
- Deliver user training and guidance to improve system usage and productivity
- Collaborate with internal IT teams such as network engineers and system administrators for complex issue resolution
- Implement and manage security configurations to safeguard systems against threats
- 4–6 years of overall IT experience in Desktop Support / Infrastructure Services
- Strong hands‑on experience in desktop management and end‑user support
- Good understanding of hardware, operating systems, and enterprise applications
- Experience with troubleshooting network connectivity and system issues
- Familiarity with IT service management and documentation practices
- Strong communication skills with a user‑focused approach
- Provide quick and effective solutions to technical issues
- Manage multiple support requests efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Communicate technical information clearly to non‑technical users
- Work independently as well as collaboratively within IT teams
- Maintain attention to detail in documentation and system configurations
- Ensure high levels of user satisfaction and service delivery
