Overview

We’re looking for an experienced UX Designer. This role requires around 5 years of experience in UX design, strong presentation skills and the ability to lead workshops. You should have experience with Scrum, understand the role and responsibilities of a Product Owner, and it’s a plus if you have even fulfilled that role.

As an Experienced UX Designer at Assist Digital NL, you will lead by example, developing innovative digital concepts and customer journeys, balancing client goals with end‑user needs, and guiding and inspiring your scrum team and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute customer experience strategies and design solutions that align with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure customer experience is seamless across all touchpoints.
  • Conduct user research, analyze customer feedback, and develop personas to inform design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs that are intuitive and visually appealing.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly and meet design specifications.
  • Continuously iterate and improve customer experiences based on feedback, usability testing, and industry trends.
Desired Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in interaction, service, or product design, or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX/Service design work, including web and/or mobile design.
  • Proficiency with prototyping tools such as Figma.
  • Experience in workshop facilitation, journey mapping, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience with user research methods, including surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a data‑driven approach to design decisions.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English at a C1 level or higher (native).
Benefits & Working Conditions

You’ll be based in our open‑spaced office in Amsterdam‑Overamstel. We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, career prospects, training opportunities, and a collaborative work culture that encourages creativity and innovation.
