(M365) DX Consultant – Microsoft 365 Application Engineer, Senior Analyst / Modern Workplace, Japan

As a Solution Architect at Avanade, you will be client‑facing and responsible for the discovery, scoping and collection of requirements to build and deploy solutions that are tailored to your customer.

• Lead solution architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations (Finance, SCM, Commerce).
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable D365 solutions.
• Define architecture for integrations, data migration, reporting, and security.
• Lead and mentor a team of functional/technical consultants.
• Serve as a primary point of contact with client stakeholders and internal leadership.
• Ensure adherence to Microsoft’s best practices and delivery frameworks.
• Support pre‑sales and business development with solution design and effort estimates.
• Contribute to the development of reusable assets, templates, and methodologies.

Avanade is seeking a Managed Services Solution Architect. The role will include end‑to‑end deal support of managed services engagements, including data gathering, analysis, cost estimating, deal shaping, proposal development, and assistance with contracting.

• End‑to‑end responsibility for shaping Managed Services deals.
• Secure required approval for variances from contracting standards and escalating issues to the executive level in a timely manner.
• Work within a team to interpret customer‑defined or implied requirements against Avanade solution templates and delivery capabilities.
• Engage with customer stakeholders and other knowledgeable resources to validate service requirements, explore solution options, and identify service integration requirements.
• Lead the definition of a Managed Services solution that meets the agreed requirements.
• Identify all service costs and populate cost models accurately for full visibility of costs over the contract term.
• Create and document a Solution Plan and engage internal stakeholders for approvals.
• Identify and mitigate solution risks.
• Support the development of pricing and commercial strategies and commercial dialogue with customers.
• Support sales activity in presenting our solution approach and methods to customer stakeholder groups.
• Plan for and support service implementation, transition, and introduction activities.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Avanade Solution Area and Business Development communities.

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise EUC solutions in private or hybrid cloud environments using Microsoft technologies.
• Deliver endpoint and device management solutions using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and Omnissa Workspace ONE as unified endpoint management solutions that integrate access control, application management, and device security across any platform.
• Contribute to design and deploy Windows 11 Standard Operating Environments (SOE), including Autopilot, configuration profiles, compliance policies, and security baselines.
• Own enterprise application packaging and deployment process, including:
  • Win
    32 application packaging
  • MSI, EXE, and Power Shell based installers
  • Application detection logic, deployment rings, and rollback strategies
• Integrate EUC solutions with security solutions leveraging Zero Trust device controls.
• Produce high quality technical documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, build guides, and operational runbooks.
• Lead EUC work streams end to end, supporting transition from project delivery into managed services.
• Engage directly with clients to run technical workshops, gather requirements, and present solution designs.
