Data Analyst, Data Science Manager
Product Manager – Freelance
Full time contract opportunity. 3 months, expected to extend in 3 month increments. Candidates must be willing to work 4 hours daily with the EMEA team for meetings.
We are seeking a Data Product Manager to join our financial client’s data product work streams. This role focuses on building scalable and efficient data products that support analytical workflows and enterprise data delivery across the client’s analytics.

DB) databases. - Strong track record of working with data engineers and navigating complex data infrastructure to deliver scalable, high‑quality solutions.
- Experience in agile methodologies; lead sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
- Effective communicator bridging technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Results‑oriented; use metrics and client feedback to prioritize work.
- Experience in the finance industry and understanding of data quality, timeliness, and regulatory alignment.
- Proactive team member promoting automation, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and curiosity for learning how AI tools can improve processes.
- Lead delivery of data products, working with cross‑functional teams including data engineering, QA, technology, and business strategy.
- Translate business needs into data requirements with focus on data workflows, scalability, and performance.
- Own data product backlog, prioritizing features, technical tasks, and improvements based on business value, effort, and dependencies.
- Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure understanding of data structure, source systems, and integration logic.
- Actively manage sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives in an agile environment.
- Ensure data quality, documentation, lineage, and governance standards are upheld.
- Identify opportunities to automate data workflows and reduce failure points across the data lifecycle.
- Communicate product status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders clearly and timely.
Rate:
Up to 77 on W2, 85 on 1099. Role is projected for three month increments.
