Global Senior IT Project Manager

We are seeking a Global Senior IT Project Manager with deep expertise in managing Business / IT projects pipeline, prioritization, on-time delivery, and designing Jira projects and workflows.

• Work collaboratively with the Project Sponsor and stakeholders on complex enterprise IT projects to establish objectives, roadmaps, roles/responsibilities, and visual task backlogs that can be managed through all phases of implementation; ensure that projects support the organization's strategic and operational goals through agile, cost-effective, innovative, reliable, and secure technologies.

• Review business needs, assess impact to operations, recommend policy changes to executives, and implement changes necessary to ensure regulatory compliance and enforcement.

• Facilitate Agile Ceremonies:
  Lead team stand-ups, sprints planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Monitor Sprint Performance:
  Develop and analyze reports on sprint metrics like velocity, burn rate, etc.

• Stakeholder Communication:
  Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues.

• Work cross functionally to design solutions that empower various business units to manage their work in the most efficient manner, with a primary focus on Jira and Confluence.

• Design and build Jira projects and workflows, focusing on practical and efficient designs.

• Develop, document, and coach others on best practices for Atlassian applications, including project configuration and management.

• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities into projects and how they are used and managed.

• Design, develop, and facilitate training for new and existing users, as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology)

• 12+ years of project management experience.

• 8+ years of Agile / Scrum management experience.

• 5+ years of experience managing and configuring Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).

• CSM or Agile certification

• Automobile or product manufacturing industry experience is required.

• Demonstrated work experience and highly proficient in Agile / scrum project management using Jira and Confluence.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.

• Attention to detail and a passion for creating highly impactful projects.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

• Experience creating business requirements, project plans, project schedules, and associated project materials.
