Are you the friendly, organized powerhouse who loves making online spaces safer and more engaging? At team5pm x SAMY, we’re searching for a Community Manager L’Oréal Benelux to ensure our communities run smoothly, users feel connected, and everyone has an awesome experience.

Community Manager L’Oréal Benelux

L’Oréalistar is an exclusive community and collaboration platform for beauty, fashion and lifestyle content creators. It allows nano- and micro‑influencers to directly partner with iconic L’Oréal brands such as L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, Maybelline, Lancôme and Kérastase.

What you’ll do
  • Approve or disapprove new members in our community.
  • Review and approve campaign submissions and screenshots for specific missions.
  • Validate user profiles for individual campaigns.
  • Manage direct messages (DMs) within a platform via the support account.
  • Respond to and interact with posts and users, keeping engagement high.
  • Handle technical questions from users and create back‑office tickets when issues arise.
  • Keep our inbox organized through smart and effective email management.
  • Act as the glue of the community, fostering a sense of connection and belonging among users.
  • Act as L’Oréal’s “eyes & ears” on the platform, spotting community happenings and sharing relevant feedback and signals.
  • Help conceptualise community activations such as beauty news, Beauty Star of the Month, masterclasses, up‑skilling initiatives and other engaging formats.
  • Work closely with colleagues, escalating technical issues and creating a workplace where creativity and trust coexist.
What are we looking for
  • 2–4 years of experience managing online communities, social platforms, or working in support roles.
  • Comfortable diving into DMs, handling email, and using digital tools (bonus if you’ve used L’Oréalistar before).
  • Quickly learning new platforms and back‑office tools through previous work experience.
  • Friendly, approachable and patient, even when users are having a tough day.
  • Attention to detail while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
  • Strong communicator in Dutch, clear and concise; speaking French is a fantastic bonus.
  • Ability to stay calm and prioritise when requests pile up.
  • Enjoy working with a team but able to manage your own workflow independently.
