Technology Support Engineer | Amsterdam Department Overview

The Monex Europe Technologydepartmentis responsible forall technology development and operations across thecompanyfor our London, Amsterdam, Madrid, Singapore & Toronto offices.

Its responsibilities encompass oversight of all IT Infrastructure, understanding business technology needs, evaluating new technologies, and accountability over the services and products used within Monex.

Job Overview

We’relooking for a proactive and technically strong Technology Support Engineer to join our growing IT function.

You’llbe the escalation point forend user support across our Microsoft 365 and Windows environment, ensuring our people stay productive and our technology runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Resolve escalatedenduserincidents, Microsoft 365 and businessapps, identity and access, and endpoint issues.
  • Support device builds, deployments, updates, and troubleshooting across laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
  • Maintain and support Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, Exchange Onlineand other collaboration tools.
  • Provide hands onoffice support including

    WiFi/LAN basics, printers, docking stations, and meeting room tech.
  • Work withotherengineers, infrastructure, and security teams to improve service quality.
  • Keep documentation and asset recordsaccurateand up to date.
Key Skills & Experience Required
  • 2–4 years in ITsupport.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Intune or similar device management platforms.
  • Solid troubleshooting abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Clear communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
  • Microsoft certifications (MS900, MD102, AZ900).
  • ITIL Foundation.
  • Power Shell or automation experience.
Languages
  • High standard of oral & written English is mandatory;
  • Fluency in other European languages (e.g., Spanish, Dutch, French, Luxembourgish, etc.) is highly desirable.
