Overview

Our Data Strategy and Operations organization is expanding and we are creating a role within the Master Data Process and Capability team. The Manager for Data Quality Operations will design and maintain master data governance policies and procedures, coordinate MDM processes, and support new product launches to ensure timely completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Governance:
    Contribute to the definition of data quality policies, standards, and targets; develop data dictionaries, business glossaries, and compliance rules.
  • Data Monitoring & Analysis:
    Review data for errors, inaccuracies, or missing information; build dashboards, monitor data health, and identify trends.
  • Error Management & Remediation:
    Lead root‑cause analysis of data quality errors and coordinate remediation plans with teams.
  • Stakeholder

    Collaboration:

    Work with data stewards, IT, supply chain functions, and operations to align data management systems, enforce validation rules, and ensure data integrity.
  • Process Optimization and Automation:
    Analyze data quality management processes to identify inefficiencies; drive adoption of tools, templates, and automated workflows to increase productivity and reduce errors.
  • Partner with IT:
    Continuously improve system integration and resolve system‑related challenges.
  • Data Reporting & Business Insights:
    Generate regular and ad‑hoc reports on data quality health, past issues, and improvement opportunities; report on KPIs measuring reduction in data discrepancies.
  • Data Governance Working Group:
    Participate in the operational data quality group with functional stewards across Make, Plan, Source, Deliver, Quality, Finance, and ATSC.
  • Data & Business Validation:
    Contribute to the analysis of data validation rules and implementation of automated validation with IT partners across master data workflow tools and ERP platforms.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience:

    Minimum of a bachelor’s or university degree or equivalent; 5+ years of related experience; demonstrated experience managing processes, functions, and teams in an operational environment.
  • Required Skills:

    Deep expertise in enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4

    HANA); advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL; strong understanding of master data governance principles and data lifecycle management; excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills; strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to build strong collaborative relationships; strong written, oral, and presentation skills in English.
  • Preferred

    Skills:

    Experience with data migration or master data transformation projects; familiarity with master data requirements in regulated industries (e.g., GxP); knowledge of Agile methodologies or PMP certification; advanced analytics, coaching, critical thinking, cross‑functional collaboration, database management, data governance, data privacy standards, data security, emerging technologies, information security risk management, performance measurement, process improvements, risk assessments, strategic thinking, technical credibility.
  • Leadership

    Competencies:

    Visionary leadership; decision making under pressure; collaboration across diverse teams; continuous improvement of processes and data quality.
Pay Range

Primary posting location:

€68,600.00 - €
Belgium: €79,800 – €137,770
Ireland: €70,100 – €121,210
Italy: €56,100 – €96,945
