Scrum Master, IT Project Manager
The Job
Green Flux is committed to evolving our organization by further embracing agile principles and practices. We are on a journey to enhance our product development processes towards end-to-end delivery and foster a culture of continuous improvement. We are looking for a dedicated Scrum Master to strengthen our team and help us achieve our goals.
As a Scrum Master at Green Flux, you will play a crucial role in elevating our teams toward ‘team-of-teams’ Scrum practices. Together with your colleagues, you will work closely with all seven teams in our development department to ensure effective collaboration and drive continuous improvement. Your expertise in agile methodologies combined with your ability to foster a positive team environment will be key to our success.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate, teach, and improve scrum events at product and team level, e.g., multi‑team product backlog refinements, sprint planning, sprint reviews, team daily scrums, team retrospectives, and overall retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor team members to further adopt agile principles and practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and self‑organization.
- Support continuous improvement of the product development organization.
- Foster a collaborative and self‑improving environment, encouraging open communication and transparency.
- Work closely with the Product Owner and Heads of Engineering, to help with product backlog management, stakeholder management, tech debt resolution, and value maximization.
- Define, track, and analyze key metrics to monitor business outcomes and support organizational performance metrics in collaboration with our Product team.
- Support teams in adopting modern engineering practices.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, at least 3 years, preferably in a large‑scale enterprise agile environment.
- Strong understanding of Scrum and agile principles.
- Knowledge of or even experience with the Large‑Scale Scrum (LeSS) framework is a plus.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage conflicts, be emphatic, and a servant‑leadership attitude.
- Experience with agile tools and collaboration software (e.g., Azure Dev Ops, Notion, Miro).
- Having a software engineering background is a plus.
Working at Green Flux means working in a dynamic, innovative, and informal organization, where innovative ideas and developments flow quickly, and each day brings new opportunities and challenges. At our inspiring office in Amsterdam, you will have the chance to actively contribute to a sustainable future!
While Green Flux has a hybrid work policy, we value the collaborative energy and synergy that comes from in‑person interactions. Therefore, we expect our Scrum Master to be present in the office more frequently than the average team member. This presence will help foster stronger team dynamics, enhance communication, and drive the continuous improvement of our agile processes. Additionally, as we have started working more closely with our other foreign subsidiaries, you will be given the opportunity to travel to and collaborate with them as well.
