Data Engineering, Cloud Computing: Infrastructure & Operations, Data Science Manager
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing and developing powerful dashboards and reports for our clients.
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and architectures that enable advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions. You will work closely with data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure data availability, quality, and scalability across cloud and hybrid environments. This role is critical in supporting digital transformation initiatives by delivering secure, high-performance data platforms that empower organizations to make data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and integration patterns.
- Develop and optimize data architectures using Azure Data Services and/or other cloud platforms.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Apply performance tuning and troubleshooting for large-scale data processing.
- Contribute to Dev Ops for Data (CI/CD, version control) and automation of deployments.
- Mentor junior colleagues and share best practices within the team.
- 5+ years in data engineering or related roles; proven track record in delivering complex data solutions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Familiarity with MLOps, ML pipelines, and advanced AI concepts.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark.
- Knowledge and experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake.
- Strong knowledge of Azure; experience with AWS or GCP is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Agile team experience (Scrum, Dev Ops).
- Willingness to travel and work at client locations.
