IT Technology Director

Role Overview

As Technology Director Benelux you hold end‑to‑end accountability for IT across the Benelux region. This role combines strategic leadership with day‑to‑day operational oversight, ensuring IT aligns with and accelerates business objectives.

• Strategy & Transformation
• Define and execute the Benelux IT strategy aligned with business goals.
• Translate corporate strategy into actionable roadmaps and investment priorities.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives including cloud, data, automation, and AI.
• Operations & Delivery
• Oversee IT operations, service delivery, and project execution.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of IT services.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Governance, Risk & Security
• Establish robust governance frameworks and compliance standards.
• Ensure strong cybersecurity posture and risk management.
• Manage multi‑million‑€ budgets focused on value creation.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Management
• Lead, inspire, and develop high‑performing teams.
• Manage strategic vendors and partners.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior business stakeholders and navigate complex stakeholder landscapes within a matrix structure.

• Defined and implemented a clear, business‑aligned IT roadmap.
• Delivered measurable improvements in service levels and operational efficiency.
• Initiated or completed key modernization programs.
• Strengthened alignment between business and IT.

You are a senior technology leader with strong experience in corporate IT and a proven ability to combine strategic thinking with operational delivery in a matrix organization. You can influence senior stakeholders, drive change, and manage complex, multi‑entity IT environments.

Fluency in Dutch and English is required. Senior leadership experience in IT, digital transformation, or business technology is essential.
