As a Service Now Platform Architect, you will:
- Define and drive the Service Now platform architecture, standards, and best practices across the organization
- Design and maintain architectural blueprints, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
- Lead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of Service Now applications and custom modules
- Architect and lead complex integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, SAML, and middleware platforms
- Collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks for Service Now development and platform usage
- Ensure compliance with ITIL practices, regulatory standards, and internal governance policies
- Identify opportunities for automation, AI-driven enhancements, and service optimization using Gen AI capabilities
- Stay current with Service Now releases, roadmap updates, and industry best practices
- 10+ years of IT experience, including at least 8 years of deep Service Now platform experience
- Strong expertise across Service Now ITSM, ITOM, GRC, IRM, and Gen AI capabilities
- Hands‑on experience with Workflow, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Virtual Agent, Now Assist, and integrations
- Experience with Service Now Studio, Application Scope management, and data reporting
- Solid knowledge of Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, CMDB, governance, and compliance frameworks
- Experience with Service Now modules such as HR Service Delivery (HRSD) and Customer Service Management (CSM)
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles and enterprise service management best practices
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure Service Now technical solutions
- Lead and mentor developers, junior architects, and cross‑functional teams
- Enforce architectural standards, coding guidelines, and development best practices
- Establish and maintain platform governance while balancing agility and innovation
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, developers, and business analysts
- Provide training, guidance, and technical support to end‑users and delivery teams
- Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities within the platform
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, AI adoption, and platform optimization
- Opportunity to architect and lead enterprise‑scale Service Now implementations
- Exposure to advanced Gen AI, automation, governance, and compliance use cases
