Test Lead SAP SF Payroll & E2E Testing ()
As a Test Lead (
SAP SF Payroll & E2E Testing) , you will:
- Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities across System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), End-to-End (E2E) Testing, and Payroll Parallel Runs.
- Define and drive the overall test strategy, scope, timelines, and resource planning.
- Oversee test execution, ensuring proper management of test cases, defect tracking, and test evidence using tools like Jira and Zephyr.
- Validate integrated business processes, system interfaces, and payroll workflows with a strong E2E focus.
- Manage defect lifecycle including tracking, prioritization, retesting, and closure.
- Ensure all test exit criteria are met and testing deliverables are completed with proper documentation.
- Prepare and present test status reports, defect metrics, and readiness dashboards to stakeholders.
- Support governance forums with testing insights for cutover and go-live decisions.
- Collaborate closely with business users, IT teams, and SMEs to validate scenarios and obtain sign-offs.
- Align testing outcomes with project governance and leadership expectations.
- 10+ years of overall experience in testing, with strong exposure to Test Management/Test Lead roles.
- Proven expertise in SIT, UAT, E2E Testing, and Payroll Parallel Run.
- Hands-on experience with test and defect management tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of SAP Success Factors – Employee Central Payroll.
- Understanding of integrated systems and business processes.
- Familiarity with AI & Gen AI tools/products (good to have).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Lead and coordinate multiple testing phases across cross-functional teams.
- Translate business requirements into effective test scenarios and strategies.
- Analyze complex system integrations and identify potential risks.
- Manage priorities, timelines, and resources in a structured manner.
- Drive defect resolution through collaboration and follow-ups.
- Communicate testing insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines.
