The Evos IT/OT team is responsible for ensuring secure, stable, and efficient IT and OT operations across all terminals. The department consists of several specialized teams covering IT Security, Business Applications, End User Services, IT Infrastructure, and Operational Technology. These teams work closely together with experienced colleagues and service partners. Data security and governance are embedded in both daily operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Following a recent strategy review, Evos has established a new Business Intelligence role to support the development and implementation of an end-to-end data service.

Reporting as part of the BI & Data team, you will collaborate across the organization to design and deliver BI and analytics solutions using Power BI and the Microsoft Data Platform. Your work will drive insights, improve data quality, and enhance efficiency.

You will work closely with internal BI stakeholders and experts as well as senior BI consultants from our implementation partner and contribute across the full project lifecycle, with a strong focus on hands‑on delivery. The core technology stack includes SQL‑Server, Azure, and related BI tools.

You will be working on a full‑stack environment covering the entire pipeline from source to dashboard and also will build reports and dashboards (Power BI) and support the organization in leveraging Microsoft 365 tools more effectively.

• Deliver BI solutions using Microsoft technologies (SQL, Azure Cloud, Synapse and Fabric)
• Develop and maintain data flows between operational systems and BI platforms
• Manage and expand the data lake with relevant data sources
• Improve and support data quality and data management processes
• Build and manage data models and ensure secure data access
• Partner with stakeholders to develop BI solutions and optimize processes
• Support end users in building and maintaining dashboards
• Contribute to standards, frameworks, and continuous improvement
• Support the use of Microsoft 365 tools to solve business challenges
• Stay up to date with new technologies and bring innovative ideas

This role is based at our office in the Netherlands. Regular collaboration with international terminals is part of the role.

Experience & knowledge

• Strong interest in data, technology, and analytics
• Experience with BI and data warehousing tools
• Solid SQL skills
• Experience with Power BI or similar tools
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (e.g. SharePoint, Power Apps)
• Knowledge of Python or statistical tools (R, SAS)
• Experience with statistical analysis (e.g. clustering, profiling)
