Senior Manual Test Analyst - Retail Systems & POS

As a Senior Manual Test Analyst – Retail Systems & POS, you will:

• Design and execute detailed manual test cases based on business and functional requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate end-to-end retail workflows including billing, inventory management, promotions, and transactions.
• Test Point of Sale (POS) systems, covering payments, refunds, receipts, and device interactions.
• Identify, log, track, and manage defects through to resolution using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Ensure application quality through thorough validation of retail systems and workflows.

• 10+ years of experience in manual testing with a strong focus on retail and POS systems.
• Solid expertise in functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience in testing retail applications, including billing, inventory, and transaction workflows.
• Experience testing POS environments, including payment systems and peripheral device interactions.
• Strong understanding of defect lifecycle management and testing best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.

• Translate business requirements into comprehensive and effective test scenarios.
• Identify edge cases and ensure complete coverage of retail workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide clear, actionable defect reports.
• Work collaboratively in cross‑functional and Agile environments.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality standards.
• Adapt quickly to evolving retail technologies and business needs.
