We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Application Packaging Engineer to support a major Public Sector organization with multiple locations across the Netherlands. You will contribute directly to building a stable, secure, and modern digital workplace by leading packaging, deployment, and troubleshooting activities across Microsoft‑based environments.

• Ensure full compliance with customer policies, security standards, and deployment procedures.
• Analyze and document technical requirements for new and existing application software.
• Support, maintain, and enhance application packaging to meet evolving business needs.
• Resolve installation issues on end‑user systems and ensure successful deployment outcomes.
• Troubleshoot visibility issues where applications do not appear in the Company Portal.
• Validate post‑installation functionality to ensure packaged applications match the source.
• Package and publish both available and required applications to targeted devices.
• Analyze cache logs and diagnose failures related to application deployment.

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in Application Packaging within enterprise Microsoft environments.
• Strong expertise with Intune
  , MSIX
  , SCCM/MECM
  , Power Shell
  , and modern Windows deployment frameworks.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex packaging, installation, and deployment issues.
• Experience working in structured, policy‑driven environments (Public Sector preferred).
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

• Experience supporting large, multi‑site organizations.
• Familiarity with secure government or public‑sector IT environments.
• Knowledge of automation and scripting for packaging workflows.
